A Stormy Day

Dark clouds appeared. Thunder roared and the wind howled. Fanny stood unhappily at the bus stop waiting for the bus.

After a few minutes, an old lady holding an umbrella walked towards the bus stop. The floor was so slippery that she slipped and fell onto the ground. She screamed in pain and shouted for help. Fanny heard the cries and screams. She immediately rushed forward to help the old woman. The old woman had sprained her ankle and hurt her buttocks. She could not even stand up. Fanny quickly ran to call for help. Soon a passer-by walked past. He saw what had happened and quickly went to help the old woman to the bus stop for shelter. The man called for an ambulance and soon, the siren of the ambulance could be heard. The paramedics carried the old woman onto a stretcher and brought her to the hospital.

At the hospital, the doctor examined her and said that she needed to stay in the hospital for further check-ups. The nurse called the old woman’s family and they came. They praised Fanny for being a helpful and kind girl.

When Fanny reached home, she told her mother what she had done that day. Her mother was glad to hear that she had been a helpful and kind girl.
